Greed Did Me In

I Sold At 71 in the morning.

While the whole market tanked this POS only went down to about 68 and change, and that wasn't until mid-afternoon. Watching QCOM sink 20% got me more and more pissed about JNPR's lack of cooperation.

Then, by the time it became clear that the rally wasn't just a head fake he had it back to 70 or so.

I still could have covered for a small profit but I was angry about having wasted the day and just didn't feel like it.

Someday maybe I'll figure out that I should cover when squeezed and then re-short at a higher basis.

This is a tricky game. Sometimes you have to be very stubborn and sometimes you have to be very flexible. And on top of that you have to figure out when to be which. <gg>
