Hi Jill: This market is so news/rumor sensitive. Friday the rally was based on one goober's comments speculating on what the Fed will do on rates. Amazing... then the shorts covered.

Nothing has really changed. No catalyst. As u pointed out, lots of news this week, so lots of potential for volatility. Consequently, I'm trying to study some different plays on those I mentioned, including QQQ, in order to be ready to execute quickly. Swing trades is all.

I am leaning to just trading QQQ this week. If it tanks, I'll look closer at those single issues I mentioned.

Hope u had a great weekend.

Rick

Jill, more specifically, to answer your question, looking at ATM Sept/Jan QQQ calls. The 50's. I mentioned those on here a few days ago.

On JDSU and those other stocks I mentioned, Aug/Sept/Oct calls, depending on the issue, just a little ITM. However, I am also looking at January JDSU/CIEN calls.
