Tom, the Naz is down 40% because many investors took their profits. There was a lot of selling last year and much of it was at a profit. Uncle Sam is due big bucks in April.

Tom, what are your thoughts on EBAY? I spent some time on their site today, the vast majority of the items listed are things I would not give one cent for. Most of the auctions have no bids. I can not imagine that EBAY is making big bucks on these auctions.

Tom, looks like the market will open up strong. If the Fed's objective is to drive the market back up, they should do the following:

1. Keep dropping hints of a surprise rate cut, but no cut yet. The market will keep moving up in anticipation of the news.

2. When the market begins to run out of steam based on anticipation, then make the cut with a broad hint of more to follow.

Often the anticipation is more exciting than the act itself.
