the fed started the day back in August 82, IMO the fed always makes the day or ruins the day.
In a way we delude ourselves in thinking our analyses of stocks make the difference--within reason, aberations such as LHSP and ELON and INSP aside.
What starts, makes, and saves the day is the money alloted to the people to invest...
So the Fed can make our day or not. Tuesday evening Bush goes before Congress for the State of the Union address, Tues. morning is also the day consumer confdence numbers come out, and Wed. Greenman testifies again.
If ever there was a script that called for him to be a hero and cut rates...
we live in a managed economy, yes?
