But, Earlie, are you satisfied with the status quo?

Are you satisfied that the Houses and Institutions run the show and the media is in their lap? Are you satisfied to watch a gullable public loosing most dearly while the fat cats on the Street get rich of this game ?

Somewhere in this process, there is an apparent palliation of misery mixed with greed that we can all yap it up here on SI and other message boards because we can outsmart this system with our clever trading prowess and understanding of economics.

But unless people are willing to change the system they are doomed to live with it.

Complaints aside, there is the comic relief of watching "Wayne's World" unfold Friday as markets rallied on a "60% prediction".

- that it'll rain
- that the sun will shine
- that the market will go up
- that the market will go down
- that the fed will ease rates
- that the fed will raise rates
- that anything will happen

The safest and most stupid call of the year.
