Prolife,

Lol, yea I think a little disappointment is coming their way -g- The real question is, will it ever "arrive" and will it sink in? Dunno.

You would think they would have heard the news by now, but its got to be like when you found out there was no Easter Bunny. Its hard to let go sometimes.

It is nice to have some closure on it. Now what happened to all those debates about voting machines? I know Michigan is considering a major upgrade. Gee, ya think my tax dollars are going to good use for that effort?

I don't.

HAGO

Disappointed that Gore lost? I adhere to the rule of law (as you and Allen Wrench and others have reminded me on several occasions), and the highest court in the land, in a 5-4 vote, instructed the American people that GWB was the President-Select. I have long lived with that fact, but, obviously, you haven't, because you still are seeking legitimacy for what happened on Nov. 7.

Lost because of the Pardongate hoopla is the fact that key components of GWB's legislative package ain't doing so well in Congress. Seems that GWB is going to be hard-pressed to come up with enough votes in the Senate for his tax cut for the wealthy, because some of the New England GOPers ain't in lockstep with the GOP Dixiecrats in the South and the GOP theocrats out in the Great Plains. In addition, GWB's plan to pump money into religious charities is on shaky ground because a lot of "new age" religious charities are now popping up and saying, "Hmmm. Wonder if we can put some government coin in our pockets, too?"

Actually, Pardongate is a good thing for the Democratic party, in the sense that new, young leaders will now emerge and Clinton won't be looked to as the titular head of the party.
