pooh,

There's no doubt that QCharts has a simpler to use interface, no doubt. I certainly will never argue that point.

And I'm lucky in that I can choose to use either eSignal charts or Tradestation charts off the same datafeed.

But for my purposes, accurate data is more important than simple to use charts. I am only in trades when the market is moving fastest, up or down, and QC invariably has more problems when the market is moving fast.

eSignal charts might be somewhat clunky from a QCharts users perspective, but for many folks they'll be able to create chart templates and workspaces that provide the functionality needed.

Pooh...I have to offer an opposite opinion for the sake of others reading. I agree with your QCharts opinion but not your NexTrend comments. I've been using NexTrend for over a month now and I've been able to configure it nearly identical to QCharts. Anyone who has tried it has probably not worked with it enough to see how powerful and flexible it really is. Because QCharts is so easy to use it will take a while to get used to anything else. It took me at least 2 weeks to get used to it and to see what all it does. It is only missing a couple of things I use in QCharts and has many others that QCharts does not. Combine that with the QCharts unreliability and NexTrend wins hands down. Anyone trading aggressively has to have a reliable system. When RQ give their product working with eSignal I'll consider it then since it's interface is similar to QCharts. John...
