I was giving a technical analysis of the stock as I see it. If, and this is a big if, the head and shoulders bottom is completed, the liklihood is for a ten point rally into strong overhead resistance. At which time we would ordinarily expect the market to correct or consolidate. If there were some event that caused the price of gold to rise quickly, the XAU could blast through the consolidation area. If that were to happen, I strongly suspect that the bear is dead.
