The Wroth of Caan

///Why is the Nortel executive, ROTH, being so hammered for being the first to tell the truth.///

Well there is the story about the little boy and the emperors clothes as one explanation. Certainly there is nothing new about wanting to kill the messenger. This might be particularly true in those who have suffered by not heeding the word when it was given.

Roth took Nortel from a backwater telephone maker protected by regulation and monopoly and turned it into about the biggest company of its kind in about 4 years. So you can add in envy I suppose.

I think there is something ironic that as we all repeat the mantra about increasing b2b and just in time parts supply some of us haven't yet seen that this increase in speed of info decreases the time required to see changes in outlook to days. This is Roths explanation I believe.
