Profitable? No.

AOL wasn't profitable for many many years. It's called an investment in the future. You should be able to understand that idea.

MSFT is very profitable. $10 billion in earnings per year. They have deep pockets and will invest in MSN until it has a massive user base. Then, they will make it profitable.

Not just my opinion in this case. Usually my posts are an opinion. This time, I see no way that MSN will end up not-profitable some time in the future.
