If the major media picks up the false ones and start to hammer him over it, or Congress investigates him based on that, I'll change my mind about Smirk. You replied that most CEO get special treatment. To me, that is your reason for saying all other people with zipper problems should be fired, but lets not hold Bill accountable because most CEO's get special treatment. I say if we are going to hold Ted accountable, or me or you for zipper problems, why not Bill; president or CEO, whatever. But not for his affair. At least that was a very low-key mention at the time of his resignation. <<<<< It was mainly because of the affair. Newt himself said it was because he had lost his ability to lead. He was too much of an embarrassment for the reps. who were going to take leadership of the house away, because of his affair, so he resigned. Mitchell also resigned, why not Bill? You can have your suspicions, and so may I, but taking the fifth is not considered to ba an admission of guilt. <<<<<< I didn't say it was an admission of guilt. You said the charges were baseless. I just pointed out that the rumors aren't baseless because two of the people involved in the Rich pardon have already taken the fifth. That gives the rumors a base, a justification for investigating further. While there may have been some behind the scenes scheming between Denise and Beth, it may not have involved His Billness. <<<<<<< You just never know, until you look into it. That is what congress and the Feds are doing. So if they spend another $100 million and investigate him and come up dry, what then? <<<<< Tell Bill that the investigation came up dry. Yup. As far as the spineless Congresscritters, well a large number likely should be in jail themselves...<< Agreed, but not before they vote for my tax decrease.
