1) He can not possibly know what the Fed is going to do
Wasn't he a fed governor? Isn't he entitled to his opinion?
2) If he does it is insider knowlege
Inside what? The fed?
3) He should be put under SEC investigation. What he did was far far worse that what that 15 year old kid did IMHO. Blatant market manipulation to protect his clients if you ask me.
What's the offense? Expression of an opinion that conflicts with yours and hurts your short positions?<g>

You're joking, right?

I'm certain by now the SEC has been deluged with complaints from hordes of investors who are upset that their portfolios are showing green now. And the SEC would be very, very upset to learn that anybody was actually manipulating the market. I'm sure nobody would do something like that.
