The reason they are willing to kill the golden goose (a really studpid idea) is because they are so greedy. It is not that they keep trying to kill the golden goose and have not yet succeeded. In fact they kill the golden goose all the time, get thrown out of the presidency, and republicans are elected. Republicans then put the economy closer to right, we become more prosperous and then put the idiots back into office in a fit of guilt over our success. They then ruin the economy all over again.
