Congrats Dad!
That was the weight of our first born..a boy...8-9.
He's 34 yrs. old next month.:o)
Many years from now you will appreciate the line from a Rita Coolidge song " all the things we wanted, were all the things we had".
Enjoy, treasure and make lots of time in the coming years for that little sucker. In the end, nothing will be as important.

OT> Wes, congratulations!! May you live to see his grandchildren. And may your son grow healthy and strong and benefit from your wisdom, teaching and parenting. Children are God's way of giving each of us a very special blessing. May God continue blessing your family! And may you all experience great joy.

WENDISMAN:

CONGRATULATIONS, especially on your first.

We had our first girl 6 years ago, and then another girl 5 years ago, and then a boy three years ago, and then another boy 2 years ago , and then another boy 6 months ago. And it is still just as you described it, a swelling heart and a new outlook on life.

I wish you and your wife all the best, and a few more!

BobP

P.S. yes, we are done!
