Zeev, do you know of any data addressing what, if any,
inflationary influence has divorce had in America thea last
+/- 12 - 15 years?

I am saying this because at first I glance I would assume
that since 50% of marriages end up in divorce,
it stands to reason that +/- 40+ of households have a double
whammy expenditures wise; you need to support two homes
and two families.

To that we add gas guzzling SUVs, higher energy
and health, several cars.

So middle America has to be overextended with home equity loans
credit card loans etc.

With 50%+ loss in Nasdaq which all Americans owned, Americans
must be just making it from check to check it would seem to me.
Thus any Fed rate cut will simply and probably go just
to pay bills and debts. I doubt the consumer is going
to go out and jump start the Economy as Alan and the pundits would like.

Maybe this is why gold is finally going up.
10 years of deny and confuse I guess may be finally catching up.

And all this is happening simply by printing a few extra bucks.....with the best of intentions may I say.....
amazing.......

TA

Zeev: Do you have some hard facts regarding how each instrument of Fed policy has increased the Money supply.

I fully appreciate and share your concerns about the overall spike generally represented by M2.
