The conservative mantra on tax cuts is: "It's your money." Yes, it is, and it's your national debt too. You have to help fund government because it's the price of living in a civilized society.

Which, to me, really sums up the difference. With privilege comes duty; with rights, responsibilities.
Ahem - surely that's a RWET theme? or is this an exception, that the right to live in a rich, civilised, comfortable democracy allowing both personal freedom and protection - is not matched by any responsibility to maintain it?
