I still see notebooks that are a steal of a deal, then you look at the ram, yep, that's where they cut back.

Notebook ram is more than desktop, at least the last time I checked.

That is Canadian dollars, but I sold 32MB of EDO ram in the fall for about 80.00 bucks. I paid 600.00 bucks for the stuff back in 95 or 96. I thought I got a good deal.

Who would have thought that ram would have came down so much. However, since they don't make EDO ram anymore, it's sure holds the price.

69.00 for 16MB of EDO ram vs 59.00 for 64MB of PC100 ram.
