Ok, here's another horse story. Wife ran in, the mare has dug a hole and rolled in it. She, the mare, can't get up. Got a rope and tossed it over her, the mare's, hind leg. The off side leg. Grabbed her off side front leg and pulled for all I was worth. Then started ducking the kicks as she was free. Wasn't as exciting as finding the foal outside the fence and mama inside. Mama wanted to kill me and the foal wanted to stay out and he was tougher than me. That little shit was born on the run. All of Lady's foals, she herded them for 6 months, she gave up on him on day two.
