Maybe Bill Fleckenstein manages to read a few of your posts now and then

“So it seems to me that the thing to watch for will be whether they sell them as soon as Greenspan starts to speak on Wednesday, or does he put something in his speech that makes them think there may be a rate cut down the road and they wait two hours to sell them. Given the preannouncements I expect from companies that report on the March quarter, this latest fling at "Easy Al is going to save the day" probably will be as short-lived as all of the other attempts at making that trade work. I think we are clearly in the mode of facts trumping spin until we get a serious washout, and then maybe hope can prevail again for awhile. In the interim, it's my opinion that most of these hope-inspired rallies are destined to fail.”
