<McTeer: "The new economy… I'm still a new paradigm optimist.">

What a clown... when Gold rallies up and hits him right on his snoot full of bourbon whiskey he'll be backpeddling faster than a carpetbagger from the old paradigm.

If you read between the lines, his message is that they won't lower the rates before the next meeting unless the stock market goes down further. At least that is what I understand! That flies in the face of Weird Angell's theory!

Heinz,

there is a self proclaimed "business station" in the nation's capitol! The station gets revenue from the advertisers as well as the people who talk "business" i.e. talk show hosts! These hosts are not only snake-oil sales people but most of them appear to be speech impaired (what an appeal to the listeners! -g-) You should listen to one of these shows and I betcha you will puke on dash-board! I tune to it often 'case they have market updates every 10 minutes.

Any way, the issue here is this: The callers on the shows give a pretty good representation of the bull sentiment. The "hosts" and the callers were so upbeat in Oct-Nov that there will be a stupendous rally come December! Right now they all appear to be either cautious, or on sidelines. Watch out!
