*OT* Scott, if the rally was taking place without the rate-cut hype job by Angell, I'd be more inclined to agree with you...but look, the last 2 sessions, the market looked just awful until Angell came out....At the end of the day, after the Fed does cut rates (or not), we are still faced with an environment in which earnings are going to be awful for quite a while....I would rather "befriend the trend" here, and short stuff heading back to the tops of their ranges/DMAs...then try to long-and-hold stocks that are technically weak, and trading under their moving averages...I'll play a few solid bounces, but that's about it..
