Hi Eva,

The entrance price of GLG for you was $2.60 which was the closing ask price on Friday. For the contest I use the closing ask price instead of the actual closing price. We went with this system after the first week of the contest to stop entrants from picking stocks that had huge spreads from the closing price to the ask.
To determine the value of your stock at the end of the week I use the actual closing price on Friday.

Hope this explanation helps as I get asked this question alot after Monday's close. For the rest of the week the actual percentage gains are realized for each stock.

regards,
Al
