I'm sorry. Did I miss something? Was Reagan ever brought up on charges, or are you just assuming he was guilty? Clinton committed perjury, and we know it to be true. Reagan may or may not have known, and we will never know for sure. In the end, with the fall of Communism in Central America, the Western Hemisphere is more stable than it would have otherwise been. Perhaps Iran-Contra at the very least produced a desirous result. Can't forget that all of those arms going to the Iranians also weakened Saddam's ability to wage war on us less than five years later. If Reagan was involved, perhaps he was a bit more visionary than you care to admit. From an operational standpoint, Iran-Contra was not a whole lot different than the Bay of Pigs, was it? LoF
