yes, we get both simultaneously: the fed pumping madly like now: M3 up 13%!!! and assets crashing down. They MUST hide inflation, because they cannot continue to allow the increase in monetary supply with inflation apparent to bondholders, esp. foreigners. Once it becomes apparent that they will trash the dollar to save the US, the game is up.
Then inflation kicks in, and global deflation follows.
