Australia gives strong backing to PNG pipeline
World News from Radio Australia, February 26

Australia's Foreign Minister Alexander Downer says Australia will do its best to ensure that a proposed gas pipeline between Papua New Guinea and the state of Queensland goes ahead.

The pipeline will be a key issue under discussion at the 13th Papua New Guinea/Australia Ministerial Forum in Canberra today.

The P-N-G government has asked Australia for a loan of 382 million dollars to finance its shareholding in the 8.6 billion dollar project.
Mr Downer says Australia is considering the request.

Tomas, the future is now. We have a slowing economy and $22 for a barrel could be in our future. but this will not have a major impact on our future cash flow because of the hedging at $28. looks good to me from all angles. I will anxiously await for the oil to flow. There are not many $2 stocks with the potential that loily has. soon, we will get noticed. 30m bpd in the future will be a wake up call for many. don't you agree?
