<<.wondering in real terms if the Black Caucus and their minions can do much for gold>
If they can bend some important politicians in the US then I would say, yes. I believe the ANC and Uncle Bill have a good argument that the "cabal" and the low gold price has had a very destructive effect on Africa. Whether it's true or not is another question entirely.>>

Or another way to look at it, If they can just convince every black in the US Canada & England to go out and buy a gold coin or two(more for those that can afford it) "For Their Brothers & Sisters in South Africa" the shorts will have lost quickly & in a most painful manner!

As you probably realize, it isn't only Africa where the poor miners are hardpressed because of low gold price. In Latin America it is also the situation. Freelance miners risk their lives digging by the hundreds in open pits that often invite landslides.

One miner I own with properties in Ecuador ceded tertiary properties for the locals to prospect in view of the abject poverty that many could avoid by a week of hard work sifting through ore. A good arrangement that also keeps the same drifters off the company's main digs.

And quite frankly, anyone willing to grub that hard for a living should get a break once in awhile. I hope you are right about the black leaders in the US not being disgraced so much by this point that they can't come up with the clout necessary to successfully rant the price of gold up a few bucks. I say $375 if they are taken seriously. The clowns already furled up the poor Confederate Flag in South Carolina--heck, that kind of clout should get us $400.
