At this point, Fed Funds Futures have a 50 bp cut completely factored in, so you're right, we may indeed sell the news (after a brief rally). I was just saying in a PM to a TA person I respect a great deal -- Allan's Alias -- that I think Wayne Angell has done the market a disservice by so aggressively stating his belief that AG will cut this week. If he doesn't, I think we're in for some rather violent selling. And I hope I'm wrong.

I'm reading Joyce Carol Oates' "We Were the Mulvaneys" and am loving it. It reminds me of what I think is her best novel, "Them", which I read years ago. I never made it the "Stones From the River" , so there's hope for me liking Hegi's current novel. What's it about?

Good morning, Rambi:

I see you had a rough night. And Poet is indicating it might not be good in the market, either. Now, I am no expert, but I always thought selling the winners and keeping the losers was not a wise thing to do.

Perhaps you need some sleep before you make any decisions that might later be characterized as "rash" or "drastic." Hmmm?
