edamo, thanks. I will continue to watch for an entry point in some stocks in March. Sitting on cash now. Looking at EXTR and SSTI among others.

What do you see as the place to invest money right now besides cash?

I bought some of the tech movers (AMCC, QCOM, AMAT, BRCM, JDSU) with puts under them about 10 days ago. Everybody has hit the strike price so I am not losing any more money. I guess I will just sit and wait for them to bottom and come back up. The problem is that you just do not know where the bottom is or how long it takes to get there.

An interesting comment I heard from some of these tech guys is that the inventory would burn off fast if consumers kept up their normal spending pace. A slow down in consumer spending, however, is causing the overhang to last a little longer. They still feel mid year turn around is in the cards.
