Somewhat related to "hate" speech, out here in Orange Co. CA there was a big deal made of the police making a notation of race on traffic tickets. There is a space on the ticket for race and the officers were sometimes using "N" for Negro. Well the locals were having none of that and claiming that in and of itself was "discrimination". Wonder if they are as upset at the United Negro College Fund or the National Assn for the Advancement of Colored People? Wonder if these same ticked off people would object to you writing a check to one of these organizations?
