I recall many of the warehouse buildings near the Moonwalk were boarded up. I think the entire street called Exchange Place was deserted.

In a different direction, I remember the neighborhood where Ursulines Street is, was in a state of decay. But in New Orleans decay seems more poetic than in other places.
