LLCF: We can have accountability without having a stock market.

In fact I would be much more in favor of a system that not just did away the stock exchanges but required companies to produce dividends upon reaching profitability. The formulas could be worked out. All companies would still be required to follow standard laws and a revamped SEC.

I have not seen a serious argument as to why the casino style exchanges we have today must exist outside of an opportunistic greed factor. BTW, I'm not sitting up high on a pillow here. I trade too, but I'd welcome a change if it were presented.
