You can try to buy the dips or, if your into pain, catch falling knives. Those things work for awhile because they lower your cost basis and it gives you a temporary high...

...until the next dip.

Then you run out of money and your pusher, er broker, calls you and says...

"Send us a check...NOW!"

I think I can help with that answer. Lithium,Depakote,Tegretol,Neurontin,Lamictal to name a few. If the mood variability is accompanied by psychotic symptoms, then one can add Risperdal,Zyprexa or Seroquel. Also, manic depression is classified as a mood disorder rather than a personality disorder.That being said anyone currently invested in this market(myself included)likely suffers from masochistic tendencies for which there is no known pharmacologic remedies.
