that's a good idea. After all the marriage contract as it was created was really the definition of an economic unit for having and raising children. If one is not interested in children- why have a contract like marriage? A contract covering goods acquired would be sufficient. The marriage contract dates from a time when all marriages were pretty much presumed to be for the purpose of creating children. That is an outmoded concept.
