OT, RE: gold, So I guess my big concern is demand.

There are probably two currencies that can be used to resolve any debt in the world. One is the US dollar, and the other is gold.

If the US is going into a recession, particularly a recession with inflation, then people might value the US dollar a little less, and gold a little more.

I remember some friends dabbling in gold and silver stocks and they really got burned in the end because greed took over.

Are you still long Crisco? Been riding it down all the way from the $82 high? If that's not greed, what is?
