I look for what I don't have ~ sanity and a good job. I figure that is a balance to my good cooking. And, of course, compassion ~ intelligence ~ and good humor. Sanity and a good job are nothing without those, even if you can twice benchpress your body weight.

Those are great questions about what to look for in a woman versus a man. I think the genders tend to express things like humor and a sense of self differently. For me, I find men who are relatively self-deprecating to be attractive. I don't think it's attractive in a woman, though.

I also wonder if the physical aspects I find attractive in women, which include all the traditionally feminine stuff like long hair, are more borne out of the fact that that they're attractive to men. As a heterosexual I would find the physical attributes in women that are most attractive to men, most attractive to me as well. Jeez, do I get a prize for "most convoluted paragraph" for this one?
