Are you aware of the growth of desertified areas? Are you aware of the rate at which we are losing rain forests and estuaries, coral reefs and wet lands? Are you aware of the over fishing of the oceans? Do you have any idea what the results of over fishing have been in areas that were once plentiful fishing grounds? Do you have any idea of the rate at which we are losing species? Do you have any idea what those species might represent to us, and to their environments (of course you don't- not even our brightest scientists know the extent of the damage, and we'll never know all of what we've lost because some of it is already gone before it was ever discovered.)
