"Large Dutch Bank and expanding in US and Canada over the last few years."

I think it is strange behavior to downgrade the stock four days before the earnings. And very rude. It is either insider information, risk aversion before the earnings or high risk speculation as in shorting and then spreading fear. I tend to think one of the latter two. Wouldn't you think the Shorts stand a greater risk of an upside sweep after earnings? I wonder if they will cover today or tomorrow. I mean, this is getting ridiculous. But, I'm open minded about the outcome. Any thoughts?
