HJ I hear the same stories about gold. BTW, despite what I posted for many months about the Nas falling to the range it is now in, it is only in the last week that I have begun to seriously consider the Naz falling below 2000 -- the risks are real. I don't know what that would mean -- but from a purely psychological standpoint it might really damage the credibility of the market cheerleaders.

This time next year. Look for gold to be trading in the low 300's.

Consumption demand is up. Hard to believe in this environment but true.

Also, retail sales wehn they come out for the month of Febrary will show strength. This is not including durable goods which I anticipate to be weak.

PS Is there a play on retailers due to this still?
