Update. Sometimes I really hate these people:

Okay, folks ... here's the update direct from Randi Feigin, Juniper's crack IR executive (and a longtime Cisco executive before that):

"Actually we don't believe in body language. People have changes in body language for all sorts of reasons, like they're kid's sick and they didn't sleep well or their kid just won a trophy the day before."

As for the company's guidance, "It hasn't changed at all. We've been talking about reduced visibility since Jan. 16," when Juniper reported earnings. "There's no change at all."

Okay, but somebody isn't liking what they're hearing from Juniper. The stock is off 9% today on higher-than-normal volume, to $65.69, touching a 52-week low. all the communications IC companies that sell to the likes of Juniper are down (check out PMC-Sierra, down another 12% to $39).

a company doesn't have to like body language, but fund managers live by it sometimes. Juniper is smack in the middle of its first quarter, so there's plenty of time left to make the quarter or disappoint.
