CB: You never had a chance to read my newsletter. (g) Did a decent job on the global picture and scooped the N.Y. boys many times. (g) Tech is where I prefer to hang my hat, but got clobbered in 1987 by not knowing the big picture, Vowed that would never happen again and have put plenty of effort into it ever since. I track a whole bunch of economic indicators, several of which are very amateurish and very accurate. Check out the implosion going on in trucking back load rates, ship "day" rates, tool and die back orders, aircraft seat averages, same store sales, etc., etc. This slowdown has been going on for many months and it is accelerating.
