Oops! I meant to try the copy command in a DOS window, not Explorer. You'll need to give the copy a new name or put it in a different folder. The copy may have the attributes of the original and be difficult to work with. use ATTRIB -r -a -s -h <filename.ext> to turn off READONLY ARCHIVE SYSTEM and HIDDEN. Sometimes this can get challenging, especially when you're dealing with hidden folders. Use DIR /AH to find them, and CD \<Foldername> to get to them. It may seem strange to change to an invisible directory, but it does work. Cheers, PW.
