When you first mentioned BEAS I went and looked at the charts and I liked what I saw... However I have not done anything with it as I have been busy with the Q's, NTAP, BRCD, EMC & QCOM... (not to mention the L/T side of the portfolio, which I also keep an eye on them as well. Under the current market, I think it is wise not to overexpose to the point that one can not pay attention to so many positions. However, I closed NTAP, BRCD and 1/2 of the QCOM today so... I will look closer to BEAS. I have subscribed th the Hahn report and I absolutely love it... it has such a wide coverage of the markets that no doubt after a few reads I will begin wondering how is it that I traded without it. Good value ! Your comment about the naked puts kind of makes me feel better about the EMC puts I sold today.... It seems that we may be "oversold" plus if we do get the so much expected interest rate cut that the potential spike may save me on my untimed sale of EMC puts today. Also, there are a few charts that have held up well in spite of all these sell offs.... One of them is ADBE (I may increase my position on that one), I like the company and it has a p/e of 27 @ 30.5 Yes, lots of homework and reading to do tonight ... I may go out for a walk for now.... I have been reading incessantly for the last 2 weeks or so... (I wonder where all the information goes) . LOL as they say.... How can I be nostalgic when I can't remember anything ... --GGG-- edit: Trading QCOM feels like a religious experience, since it has a cool p/e of a mere 403 (@ 55.625)... and this... after all the sell offs it has gone under... so all I need to do is recognize the intraday trend and have at it as if I were a kid in a candy store... I should not get overconfident however, as the cult followers could get irate and spank me good.... so I shall chant often (as I trade)..... Quaaaaaaalcoooom... Quaaaaalcooooom... Quaaaaaalcooooom... The above must be done with a medieval monk's chanting style (I think Thursday they report --not sure)
