I disagree with your premise. I find it difficult to believe you have ever actually listened to or read what Greenspan has said about the economic benefits that the expansion in technology has created. He is very much a believer in the concept that technological innovations have created real economic wealth. In fact, he pretty much came out and said that he did not think the stock market was in a bubble. And, as others have pointed out, the Fed has been expanding the money supply at a rapid clip.
