Because we allow the use of free will in most aspects of our life. Most everyone here has been taught the idea of freedom is sacred-- mainly instilled in because our fore fathers and mothers came her to escape repression. That we saved the free world twice (WWII and Reagan's V in the Cold One.) But, our shameful War on Drugs has sadly made us one of the less free.
