What I'm beginning to see here is a loss of confidence in a lot of stocks today. Volume increasing on the downside with a lot of good companies.

Are we getting near the bottom. My guess here is that we won't know until the fed cuts again. Some of my professional investor friends are getting nervous and this latest downward move has them getting scared as if last year wasn't bad enough.

I'm beginning to smell capitulation.
