Just for amusement, I went to check the cnet shopper top 100 at shopper.cnet.com . Three AMD cpus at 9 (1ghz), 47(900mhz), 77(1.2 ghz); the lonely Intel cpu was a piii 933 at 100. 4 socket A boards at 5, 20, 37 58; (asus and abit) again, one lonely Intel representative, an asus P4 board at 96. On the other hand, most of the OEM systems listed there were Intel. Pretty pathetic, too, the top seller at #12 was a Sony VAIO PCG-F590 (Pentium III 750 MHz, 128MB RAM, 18GB), at a listed low price of $2129. Yuck, makes the whole list pretty suspicious. -Win.

I hate to break it to you, but the list is alphabetical. it does give you a list of what is generally popular, just not in any useful order. I had been tracking this page for a few weeks myself before I figured that out :o note that AMD has fewer CPU products than Intel so you would expect some disproportionate representation in these lists relative to the actual number of units sold per manufacturer
