And I think, at least in this state, that we are not providing the means necessary to provide a proper education. We have let it slip back as something expected without our involvement as people, and as little monetary involvement as possible. So it has become second-rate. Not because of a lack of interest on the part of the providers, but by a lack of means provided by the users. We PAY for good service from our insurance companies, and if we go with a cheaper company, we know to expect that inferior service is likely. If we want the best, we pay for it. We give it respect by not saying "work for near poverty wages" (and they are here). We pay for it. And we pay for a decent office, we don't put them in a trailor. I know I go on about trailors. but it really is rediculous to grouse about things when kids are in trailors because people won't pay for classrooms. It's not like the teachers are taking home great wages so that it shorts the kids.
