Twfowler.. its called the Supreme COurt werent taken in by this cost argument that all these industrial groups were putting forward.. this appeared to be a concerted effort to weaken the EPA , and thus weaken pollution and air quality standards.

Money was involved all right.. these groups - to me anyways - sounded like they didnt want to go to the effort of having to lose some of their profits in order to clamp down on pollution... they wanted to remove the fear of a policing agent looking at them to make sure they complied.

Glad to see some sort of sanity reigns still with regards to the courts and the environment.
