Re: You don't think Otellini or Barrett can't pull up a report based on raw field P4 sales on their own PC? The presentation of sales reports is more of an art than a science. There are issues of sell through, when is an order a sale, when are returns or reductions in quantities applied, what to include in a summary report and what to exclude. Do you think "how many of you has a P4 at home" would have been asked if Burner really knew what P4 was doing at retail? What about the 1.13 release and the MTH? What about "5 new chips by..." from Ruiz? And AMD's "official" release of the 266 parts in December vs. their actual ship dates of yesterday? There is a real problem with status and progress reports getting polished at both companies. Dan
