i'm with ya, joe. i was talking about them too.... AND i was talking about desk top. hence my comment...

"just as i was reading your post about company logo icons (like yahoo), i checked one of my folders with some yahoo sites in it and the red icons had been replaced by the msie ones, just as you alluded to. i was ready to attribute these two occurrences (desk top rearrangement and lost company logo icons) to my journey into safe mode, that is until i started reading of others here who are seeing the same thing."

so it's happening to me too, and it happened along with the rearrangement of desk top icons, and both of those happened after booting into safe mode.

just looking for a possible connection.
